A Navy SEAL used the pseudonym Mark Owen to write an upcoming book on the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. The book is called “No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden.” Pre-order here.

It gets released on Sept. 11th.

The SEAL, who Fox News surprisingly outed, is likely gonna face another tough mission – avoiding legal trouble. The Pentagon has not vetted the account or authorized the book.

Not completely sure how I feel about this. It feels kinda wrong for a SEAL to write a book and profit from the mission while the others who were with him that night gain nothing. They should have written it together or not at all.

Still, I will probably buy this book.

Guess who is playing at this wedding? Yep, Nickelback… That will be one weird father-daughter dance.

BTW – the ring is 14-carats. Yeah, despite you hating on Chad Kroeger, he has done quite well for himself.

Body-suits freaking out residents in Woodbury

Source: MonkeyMyshkin

So I guess there is a place in the U.S. where full-body spandex suits are trendy. That place? South St. Paul, Minn.

Here is a recent report from the Woodbury, MN police blotter. Seems like this fashion is freaking people out. I don’t blame them. I saw two guys like this when I was walking to a parking ramp the other night after a Twins game. They made me uneasy and I kinda wanted to punch them.

Has anyone else seen this out in public before? Are you one of these people? Fess up! You can buy your own spandex suit here.

George Carlin on The American Dream

George Carlin on The American Dream

Classic moment from George Carlin explaining politicians and the American Dream. There’s a reason they call it the “American Dream.” It’s because “You have to be asleep to believe it.” Warning: Strong Language.

Chinese people now wearing a face bikini to protect faces form sun

The people of China are not known for their fashion forward sense, and the Face-Kini is as good an example as any.

In China, it’s the height of the tourist season for Qingdao’s famed beaches. But while many of the town’s visitors want to enjoy the sand and water, they’re not so wild about sunbathing. So they often resort to a local tradition: the face-kini, a sort of light cloth version of a ski mask.  More on this story…

It’s giving me daymares. I’ll stick to more traditional forms of sun protection.
