This would be super creepy to come across while camping.
Guardians of the Forest: Deep in the Colombian Amazon, Yucuna indians stand dressed in traditional tribal attire for the Baile del Muñeco, or puppet dance, a celebration of the abundance of the Chontaduro fruit. While traditional indigenous customs are fast being lost throughout the Amazon jungle, here, far down the Caqueta river and few miles from the Brazilian border, traditions are still very much intact. New York Post cover
This New York Post cover printed this week shows a man who had been pushed on the tracks moments before a train hits and kills him. People are pretty upset the Post decided to publish a photo of a man right before he was going to die. The photographer who took the photo (and witnessed the assault) claimed he could not help life the man and tried to use his camera flash to warn the subway train operator. Of course, that didn’t stop him from selling the photos to the New York Post.

Cold Spring Minn police officer killed in ambush
It’s a sad day in Minnesota. Officer Tom Decker, age 31, of the Cold Spring, MN police force died late Thursday after being shot in the face by a suicidal dirt bag. Full story here.

Near dawn, a parade of police cars escorted Decker’s body to the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office. They rolled with flashing lights down Interstate 35E.
