The American Family Association provided a list of companies that do and do not use the word “Christmas” in their advertising or promotions this time of year. If you are interested in seeing how they determined this, then click here.
I am indifferent on this topic because I’m pretty sure Jesus Christ doesn’t care about Black Friday. I think a company should use whatever word they want. However, I don’t think retailers should be letting the political correctness crazies out there push them around either. Use whatever word (Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Holiday) is going to make your company wheel barrows full of money and ignore the idiots that tell you how to run your business.

A classic interview from American Gladiators “Malibu” after taking “the most excellent hit” of his life. What he said at the end about floored me. You will be redirected to YouTube.

OMG, I baely got through this video without going into one of those laugh-coughing fits. The set-up is explained in the intro, but essentially these two guys have to ask a Target employee where to find certain “products” they have written on a shopping list. Because they wrote each others’ list, they don’t know what is on it until they read it off in front of the employee. The nonsensical shopping items are funny as all get out. This is what I imagine improv bootcamp to be like.

Bad things happent to good people. When the police have left and the witnesses have been interviewed, the crime scene tape remains. Design studio Aint Rocket Science have developed Tiny Crime Scene Tape, a small roll of vinyl tape for closing off the mini crime scenes in your life. Rope off that box of chocolates you just destroyed, or that bag of Doritos you ate while watching reruns of Ugly Betty. You can buy it here. What would you use it for?

Undercover narcotics officers chased a 15-year-old suspected of having a firearm into a building courtyard. After firing at him, police learned that the suspect was holding a pellet gun covered with black tape, not a real gun. The boy was hospitalized and was later charged in family court. The investigation is closed.
In 2009, the NYPD started using a camera called the Panoscan to capture high-resolution, 360-degree panoramic images of crime scenes. This new view is much better than photo snapshots or handheld video camera recordings because it captures everything surrounding the crime scene (even above in the sky). This allows investigators to point and click over evidence from a scene that they might have missed in the hectic hours after the crime.
Click here to view some of the real crime scenes in all of their gore and rawness. Humanity can be ugly.
