Couple flying with twin babies pass out candy to passengers

A couple with 14 week old twin boys on their first airplane ride were quite aware of the torment it would cause other travelers.  As a pre-emptive measure when flying cross-country from San Francisco, they handed out plastic bags of candy to fellow passengers to placate them in anticipation of the infants crying, screaming or causing other annoyances. Is it my right NOT to vote?

For the first time in my life, I am seriously considering staying home on election day.  I am opting-out of the political process.  I have come to believe “freedom” to choose who runs our country is an illusion and that American society has no real choice in who becomes President. These two candidates we have today were bought and paid for long ago.

The electoral college is bullshit. The current system of “winner takes all” in each state warps presidential elections. Through polling, candidates and media divide the country into red and blue states, and those categorized as “swing” acquire the attention. A Washington Post analysis shows the 2012 election will be decided by roughly 916,643 “undecided” voters in six swing states.

Consider me “decided.” I have decided to sit at home, pour some Grey Goose over ice, and exercise my right NOT to vote.  Am I wrong?

Body-suits freaking out residents in Woodbury

So I guess there is a place in the U.S. where full-body spandex suits are trendy. That place? South St. Paul, Minn.

Here is a recent report from the Woodbury, MN police blotter. Seems like this fashion is freaking people out. I don’t blame them. I saw two guys like this when I was walking to a parking ramp the other night after a Twins game. They made me uneasy and I kinda wanted to punch them.
