The end of summer pretty much makes us all depressed. If you live in Minnesota, you realize as the sun sets earlier, that the cold wet stuff is on the way. The silver lining here is that fall television will be ramping up. There appears to be some gems out there, so warm up the DVR and get familiar with your options. You can also assume that the majority of these will get cancelled just as you start to like them. Such is life.

The X Factor – FOX – 9/21/11 (Might be cool since that they allow bands)
Person of Interest – CBS – 9/22/11 (Created by J.J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan. My interest is high.)
Enlightened – HBO – 10/10/11 (Stars Timm Sharp, Laura Dern, Luke Wilson, and many more.) Hard to explain, so view trailer here.

Two little girls steal goat from zoo under the cover of darkness

Mankato police say two young girls stole a goat from a zoo, but got nabbed while walking their goat home late Saturday night. The girls, two sisters under the age of 10, snuck out of their house to enact the crime while still in their pajamas. They had been at a birthday party at the zoo earlier the same day when they came up with a plan to spring him from goat prison.

When the cops stopped and detained the two pajama-clad girls on the street, they told the officer the goat belonged to them and they were just taking the animal for a late-night walk. As the kid questioning continued, the girls kept stretching their tale.

The goat lives in their bedroom closet, they said. Mom bought it a couple weeks ago, but dad didn’t know about it. So they had to keep the goat thing quiet to keep dad from suspecting anything.

When cops brough them home, the story unraveled like just like it does on the show COPS. No one is completely sure how they got the goat out.
