Mike Bordick and Jay Johnstone Trumpet Prank
Here is an old video starring Mike Bordick of the Oakland A’s. He thinks he will be disrupting an interview with a loud blast from a trumpet, but the joke is on him. The trumpet was filled with powder with the end pointed right at his own face. Good thing it was only powder in that horn.
And some other great baseball pranks…

Movie trailer: The Great Gatsby
The remake of the 1974 movie gets its first trailer.
The Great Gatsby follows Fitzgerald-like, would-be writer Nick Carraway as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz and bootleg kings. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby, and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.
The film, directed by Baz Luhrmann (Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge), stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton and Isla Fisher, and will hit theaters on Dec. 25th.
Soundtrack includes a cool cover of the U2 hit “Love is Blindness” by Jack White.

Top 10 Songs that used a Moog synthesizer
Love that the Google doodle today honors the what Bob Moog brought to music. He would have been 78 today. The Moog synthesizer (Pronounced “mohwg,” not “moo-g.”) has been in use for more than four decades’ worth of pop, rock and other music including film. It got me thinking about the best songs that feature Moog lines. Here are 10.
If you are looking for a Moog synthesizer for yourself, I was surprised to see such high-quality ones on Amazon. Click here to view (affiliate link).

Parenting Fail at a Laundromat
Couple put their baby in the machine to scare him, but it quickly became no laughing matter. The machine had an auto-lock system and took the child for a terrifying spin. The child suffered minor injuries and is safe. Hahahaha….you’re under arrest. Idiots.
