A word to all you idiots who think it’s fun to interrupt a live TV shot: do not mess with WKMG reporter Jessica Sanchez when she’s on the air.

From Media Bistro:
Sanchez was reporting live from Bourbon Street in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl when a woman interrupted her, walking into her shot and yelling at the camera. Sanchez quickly turned the tables on the crasher: “We were just talking about the STD rate that’s going on here. So how long have you had an STD?” Sanchez asked her (video above).

“I don’t have an STD,” the woman answered. “Oh, then why did you want to do an interview?” Sanchez asked.

Someone just got OWNED.

Photographs appearing to show a blindfolded man having his fingers severed by the mechanical amputation device have been published by an official Iranian press agency.

According to the story, the prisoner used to demonstrate the brutal contraption had been convicted of theft and adultery by a court in Shiraz last Wednesday.

A series of pictures show three masked officials, clad entirely in black, holding the man’s right hand in a vice while one turns a wheel operating the guillotine in the manner of a rotary saw.

So yeah, hooray for human rights!

Family discover missing pet tortoise in locked store room 30 YEARS after she vanished…and she’s still alive. Full story.

Photo via TV Globo. Alone time: Manuela was finally discovered alive inside a box containing an old record player when the family decided to clear out a locked store room (above). Tortoise looks pissed.

Notes:
1. Manuela (tortoise) disappeared from her home in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1982
2. Found when owners finally cleared out storage room after family member died
3. Vet believes she survived by eating termites from the wooden floors
4. She looks pissed. Poor thing probably craved a leafy green salad with crickets on a daily basis.
