Not the real “George Zimmerman”
Many may hate George Zimmerman, but I think we can all feel sorry for poor Jorge Zimmerman. The Rhode Island man has literally been chased off the Internet after his Facebook account was flooded with hate messages following the verdict of the other Zimmerman. “I didn’t know who these people were,” Jorge said. “I got messages like … watch your back, just watch yourself.” Apparently these people were too angry to realize that this Zimmerman’s first name was spelled differently, he doesn’t live in Florida and he looks nothing like the man whose face has been broadcast nonstop for the past few weeks. “I had to deactivate my [Facebook] account,” he said. “I just wanted to be left alone.” (via MSN vi Source)

From MSN: Celebrity: “Do you know who I am?” Bodyguard: “No, and here is a choke-hold you can be in.” Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis was attacked by a bodyguard in Philly this weekend, who was concerned he was a creepy fan of … the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The muscle in the suit was clearly paranoid about “fans” penetrating the Four Seasons Hotel, whose guests included the Peppers and the Rolling Stones. Bystanders shouted “That’s the lead singer!” — but better safe than sorry, right? HELLO?!?!

Book lovers who read political thriller novels lost one of the best yesterday with the passing of Vince Flynn. As a fan, I am unsure of how close he was to finishing his latest novel, The Survivor.
I am publicly asking John Sanford, Lee Child, and Nelson DeMille to team up and finish this book for Vince and for his fans. Maybe the proceeds to the book could go to prostate cancer research.
Now that Vince is gone, we know what has to happen. Mitch Rapp needs to die. And there is no one more suited to write how it happens than you three.

ABC News is reporting that James Gandolfini’s son witnessed his Dad go into cardiac arrest. James Gandolfini died a short time later at the hospital.
His death is a big loss for Hollywood and fans that were hopeful of a Soprano’s reunion.

I am so super bummed today after learning that my favorite author, Vince Flynn, has died. Flynn died Wednesday morning at United Hospital in St. Paul. He had been battling prostate cancer.
Flynn has authored 15 novels, and I have read them all.
