A Harley-Davidson motorcycle that washed ashore on B.C.’s west coast may have drifted across the Pacific after being carried out to sea by last year’s devastating Japanese tsunami. The Maritime Museum of BC has developed an online project on Facebook that aims to collect photos of flotsam that has washed ashore from this tsunami. You can see images here. Very interesting.

From the 2007 Secrets from Another Place: Creating Twin Peaks special: film music composer Angelo Badalamenti describes how he and David Lynch came up with Laura Palmer’s Theme from Twin Peaks. This is probably one of the most beautiful and haunting pieces of film music I have ever heard. You can buy the soundtrack here.
In case you were wondering, Angelo Badalamenti is the “coffee spitting guy” from Mulholland Drive.
