Why the name of Lil Wayne’s tour is ironic
Oh the irony. Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform Sunday night at the Venue on First Avenue in Minneapolis in support of his tour ironically named “Sorry for the wait…”, but bailed on his fans after “members of his entourage refused to take part in the Venue’s standard safety procedures,” the club said in a posting Monday night on Facebook.
The procedures include a pat-down and metal-detection scan on everyone entering the club. Even the artists. This is done for the safety of everyone, but his handlers felt the security measures were “excessive”, and refused to comply.
The Venue stood their ground. Fans waited for hours only to be told Lil Wayne would not be performing. The Venue is refunding fans.
Of course, if a shooting had occurred, the club would have been blamed for not doing a better job to protect the public. Go support The Venue. They did the right thing.
Minneapolis fans aren’t the only ones unhappy with Mr. Wayne. He is being destroyed in the concert reviews on Ticketmaster too.

Did you know Sisqó lives in Maple Grove?
Sisqó, the artist whose “Thong Song” hit number three on the U.S. pop charts in 1999 lives right here in Maple Grove. “No thongs out here!” laughs Sisqo during a Channel 12 interview recently.
Maybe that’s because it’s so damn cold here.

Mitch Williams and Lenny Dykstra Philly Sports Roast Gets Ugly (Video)
Mitch Williams and Lenny Dykstra hate each other. I mean, really hate each other. Someone needs to get these guys their own reality show. Dykstra has long held the belief that Williams blew the 1993 World Series. See the video below. Williams, obviously, is not a big fan of that opinion.

Adam Levine attacked outside ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
The Maroon 5 frontman was greeting fans outside of Jimmy Kimmel’s studio on Wednesday when attacker got all sweet on him. Levine was not harmed, but I am sure he was regretting the decision to title his latest single “Sugar.” The man was arrested. It’s unclear what the suger pitcher’s motivations were, but he has done this before. Hollywood police said he is a repeat offender having recently thrown a rock at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson last week. I guess this idiot loves puns. Maybe we can get him to throw a wrecking ball at Miley Cyrus?

Afroman loses his s***!!!
Afroman was hauled offstage after punching a female fan in the face in the middle of a concert in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The fan, who has not been named, jumped on stage and approached Afroman, who allegedly turned around and landed “a right-handed haymaker” to her face. You can watch the jaw-dropping punch in the video above.
The rapper – famous for his stoner anthem Because I got High – initially carried on performing and left his woman victim bleeding and crying on the ground, according to TMZ.
Dang! If she was a problem on stage, why didn’t security escort her off stage? If this had been my girl, Afroman would have been wheeled out of that building on a stretcher.
