Kurt Cobain death scene photographs released

Seattle police have released new photos of the suicide scene of grunge rocker Kurt Cobain. Warning: Some actually show the Nirvana frontman’s body. They are not strictly graphic in nature, but do tell a sad story.

It was 20 years ago this week that Cobain killed himself at his home in Seattle. The singer’s body was found three days later by a utility worker. Seattle police Detective Mike Ciesynski explained to local television station KIRO that while there is no reason to believe Cobain’s death was anything but a suicide, authorities reviewed all of their files from the case — including developing and releasing some new photographs in addition to the ones already released. American Horror Story Season 4 Teaser

I’ve been eagerly awaiting news on American Horror Story season 4 ever since Coven ended. Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Frances Conroy will all be heading to the Freak Show.

What we know about freak show so far is that it will be set in Jupiter, Florida in the 1950s. Jessica Lange will be playing a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S.

Let’s hope it’s better than Coven.

Harold Ramis, who co-wrote and appeared as Dr. Egon Spengler in “Ghostbusters” with Second City alums Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, has died.

Ramis suffered from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a disease that causes swelling in the blood vessels, and died from complications of the illness surrounded by his family

He also co-wrote “National Lampoon’s Animal House” and “Meatballs” and directed such films as “Caddyshack” and “Groundhog Day.” – via The AP on PilotOnline.com and Variety.
