So this assclown torches box of Cheerios in protest of General Mills support for same-sex unions, but it doesn’t quite go as planned. Glad he was dumb enough to film this borderline arson attempt. Maybe the cops can use it to track him down.

If you are gay, GLAAD and the left will defend you. Not if you are a Republican though. Read this story about how reality TV show star Taylor Garrett gets a beat down and vandalized because he’s a gay conservative associated with commentator Ann Coulter.
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) identified several celebrities receiving farm subsidies whose professions had nothing to do with farming or agriculture. Did you know Jon Bon Jovi paid property taxes of only $100 last year on his extensive real estate holdings in New Jersey that he uses to raise bees? He’s not alone. Bruce Springsteen, Ted Turner, Quincy Jones and others are collecting too. Is it right? I don’t know, but it does make me cringe a bit. I won’t fault people (even celebrities) for taking advantage of loopholes that are in place. If we as a society think it’s wrong, then we need to change the laws I guess. See story.

Rapper Jay-Z loves the Occupy Wall Street movement and is making some good money off a new line of Rocawear branded OWS T-shirts (see story). At this time, he has not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement. I think it’s great that he is demonstrating entreprenurial skills. Good for him.
Anyone else tired of seeing Leo take on these “older” roles? He has such a baby face, I can’t usually take him seriously when he plays really mature roles. I don’t know if I’ll see the new Hoover movie because of this. Plus, I don’t think I can look past that terrible make-up job. I do like Eastwood though. Hmmm, what to do?

Could the Minnesota Twins go from worst to first like they did in 1991?
How can politicians and business leaders from around the world meet in secrecy at a Swiss resort this past weekend and it not be covered by the mainstream media? See leaked Bilderberg list.
Do supporters of gay marriage in Minnesota realize that boycotting the Basillica Block Party would only take away money from the homeless?
If home daycare providers form a union and decide to go on strike, who would they bargain with? They are self-employed! (news story)
I am seriously considering not wearing a team jersey if I am watching a sporting event in a different city. With Bruins fans being stabbed in Vancouver and Giants fans being beaten in Los Angeles, I think I’ll dress a little more inconspicuously.
