If you are gay, GLAAD and the left will defend you. Not if you are a Republican though. Read this story about how reality TV show star Taylor Garrett gets a beat down and vandalized because he’s a gay conservative associated with commentator Ann Coulter.
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) identified several celebrities receiving farm subsidies whose professions had nothing to do with farming or agriculture. Did you know Jon Bon Jovi paid property taxes of only $100 last year on his extensive real estate holdings in New Jersey that he uses to raise bees? He’s not alone. Bruce Springsteen, Ted Turner, Quincy Jones and others are collecting too. Is it right? I don’t know, but it does make me cringe a bit. Rapper Jay-Z loves the Occupy Wall Street movement and is making some good money off a new line of Rocawear branded OWS T-shirts (see story). Anyone else tired of seeing Leo take on these “older” roles? He has such a baby face, I can’t usually take him seriously when he plays really mature roles. I don’t know if I’ll see the new Hoover movie because of this. Plus, I don’t think I can look past that terrible make-up job. I do like Eastwood though. Hmmm, what to do?
