Making their network TV debut, Future Islands performed “Seasons (Waiting On You)” from their album, “Singles.” Afterwards, Dominic Howard from Muse tweeted how awesome they were.
The lead singer is nothing I have ever seen before. Now I am a fan.
You need to watch this performance.
The nearly lost male/female country music duo is back in classic fashion. This is a band that you need to be into right now if you call yourself a country music fan. Like their Facebook page.

Want to be the cool kid that “discovered” some awesome new music before they got big? Look no further than Minneapolis rapper/singer Lizzo. The group just-released their debut album, LIZZOBANGERS, and it’s packed with some impossible rhymes and serious hooks.
The track is called “T-Baby,” and you should probably check it out below.

Here Come the Mummies is a Funk/R&B band, best known for their live performances in which band members perform in full mummy attire bandages. Their songs are fun and hilarious. I want to be where they are this Halloween. Check them out below.
This is currently my favorite song. Grouplove inspire peace in North Korea in their Ways To Go video. This song is on their upcoming album dropping in September.

The former frontman for The White Stripes Jack White taps the creative prowess of renowned director Hype Williams (see music video credits below) for this video on his Blunderbuss featured track “Freedom at 21.” It does not disappoint.
Williams has created a number of music videos for artists such as 2Pac (“California Love”), The Notorious B.I.G. (“Warning”) and (“One More Chance”), Craig Mack (“Flava in Ya Ear” (Remix)), LL Cool J (“Doin It”), Nas (“If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)”, “Street Dreams”, “Hate Me Now”), Missy Elliott (“The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly))”, “She’s a Bitch”), Busta Rhymes (“Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See”), TLC (“No Scrubs”), Kelis (“Caught Out There”), Jay-Z (“Big Pimpin'”), Kanye West (“Gold Digger”, “All of the Lights”, “Diamonds from Sierra Leone”), Aaliyah (“Rock the Boat”), Christina Aguilera (“Not Myself Tonight”), Coldplay (“Viva La Vida”), Hoobastank (“If I Were You”), Left Eye (The Block Party), t.A.T.u. (“Gomenasai”), (Ke$ha) (“We R Who We R*),and Nicki Minaj (“Stupid Hoe”) (“Right By My Side”).
I had never paid attention to Joe Bonamassa music until today. Thanks to a mention of them on Bits and Pieces, I am now a fan. The guy has worked hard over the years with producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, etc.). I can’t put my finger on the style or sound yet, but I like it. Maybe you will too. Driving Towards The Daylight is his new album and it’s due out on May 22nd.

Check out the new song “Tattoo” from Van Halen. The single should be available for download here. What do you think?
These guys aren’t new, but they are new to me. Don’t you love it when you discover a new band you like? They say they’ve been doing this about 10 years, and since 10 years is usually when bands break, or”making it big,” you’ll likely hear their name again.
