Parents in Berlin covered a billboard promoting Iron Maiden‘s The Book of Souls, because the image is terrifying kids at a nearby school. They placed a sign over the Mayan-style update of Iron Maiden’s mascot Eddie, with a message reading, “This poster has no business being here.”
Here is the actual image.

Janet Jackson’s comeback world tour started in Vancouver, Canada this past week and we now know she forgot to bring her wardrobe specialist.

The reviews of her tour have been good, but a bit clouded by her Donald Duck MC Pamper pants.

Thanks Brooke

Production is now underway on the HBO Films production, and we have a first look photo of Bryan Cranston as LBJ, in which the actor is completely unrecognizable.
The show begins as he takes the oath in the wake of President Kennedy’s assassination, moves through the escalation of the Vietnam War and chronicles his struggle to balance opposing interests to launch his landmark civil rights bill and win election to his first full presidential term. They have not announced a release date yet.
Here’s the photo of Bryan Cranston in All the Way, from People Magazine:

Known for the “Scream” films, “Nightmare on Elm Street” and more, died Sunday in his Los Angeles home of brain cancer. He was 76.
Craven’s first feature was “The Last House on the Left,” which he wrote, directed an edited in 1972. He also wrote and directed “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” with Johnny Depp, in 1984, as well as “Elm Street II.” Craven claimed to have gotten the idea for Elm Street when living next to a cemetery on a street of that name when growing up in the suburbs of Cleveland. According to Wes Craven, it is not what is “out there” we should worry about, but the “unknown familiar”. Which explains why the striped-jumper worn by Freddy Krueger in Nightmare On Elm Street can make him appear as the more familiar Dennis the Menace. When you consider that Krueger was based on a child who bullied Craven, the spine begins to tingle.
Worldwide success came again in 1996 with the release of the always-winking comedic horror Scream, which had as big an impact on the modern horror scene as Nightmare did, and tons of movies tried to copy the slick direction, twisty plot and genre-based gags. The first scene in Scream was changed seven times before it got an R rating.
His most recent film was 2010’s “My Soul to Take,” starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Emma Roberts and Hayden Pannetierre.
Horror movie fans lost one of the great ones today.

After not speaking to each other for almost two decades, Axl Rose and Slash may be ending their feud, or at least reaching some sort of détente. Rolling Stone points out that in a recent interview, Slash responds to the host’s remark that “I’ve heard that you’ve made friends with Axl Rose again” by saying, “It was probably way overdue, you know. But it’s very cool at this point to dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.”
