Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick was shot and killed near Dodd Road and Smith Avenue in West St. Paul just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was the first officer killed in the line of duty ever in this department.
After an all day manhunt, sources say Brian Fitch Sr. has been captured. Fitch is in the hospital with gunshot wounds. How he was shot is unclear, but I sure hope a police officer did it while closing in on him. More news. Pray for this officer’s family tonight.
