Well it didn’t take long did it Viking’s fans? A warrant was issued today for the arrest of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson after a grand jury in Texas indicted him for reckless or negligent injury to a child.
TMZ is reporting that one law enforcement source told them … Peterson decided to discipline his son by grabbing a branch from a tree — and then whipping the child on his bare skin. We’re told several of the wounds were bleeding when the child went back to his mother.
I don’t care how you were brought up. There is no excuse for using a tree branch to whip your kid so hard that they bleed. Did I mention the child was 4 years old? What could a four-year-old do to warrant beating the living s*** out of them with a tree branch?

I hope all the AP fans out there finally stop putting this guy up on a pedestal. He may be a great football player, but understand you don’t know this man. The pictures above aren’t enough? Maybe you need to read this and this.
The heat is still on the NFL for its mishandling of wife beater, Ray Rice. You can bet they will deal with this Peterson mess quickly and severely.
As much as I want the Vikings to succeed this year, I don’t want to cheer for this guy. How about you?
