New HBO show brings us inside the New York rock music world of the 70s


Here is a new trailer for HBO’s upcoming show called Vinyl. Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, Terence Winter (writer / producer of Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos) have been working on it for 6 years. The show, set during the New York music scene of the 1970s, is going to trace the rise and fall of the fictional American Century Records. Vinyl stars Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger, and Paul Ben-Victor.
