Need further proof that the state of today’s journalism is in peril? Look no further than comedian Jon Hendren, aka @fart on Twitter, who was asked to be interviewed by HLN anchor Yasmin Vossoughian about the importance of Edward Snowden’s presence on Twitter.
Jon Hendren has only posted a couple tweets in support of Snowden over the years, and had no idea why he of all people was sought out to give his opinion about Edward Snowden recently joining Twitter.
Hendren decided to make it a a great day for the internet. He answered host Yasmin Vossoughian’s questions about Snowden reasonably at first, but it quickly became clear that he was talking about another Edward S. — Edward Scissorhands.
