“Safety Not Guaranteed” is a film about newspaper reporters trying to find out what’s going on with a guy who places a classified ad like the one above. Release Date: June 8, 2012
Starring: Kristen Bell, Jake M. Johnson, Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Mary Lynn Rajskub.

The movie’s plot traces its origins to an actual classified ad placed in Backwoods Home Magazine back in 1997. It is now known as the The time-travel ad.
