Alex Trebek is a man legends are made of. I have always assumed Trebek was an angry s.o.b. and have always kid of admired that. He’s human and cusses like a sailor when things don’t go his way. Watch this example of outtakes.
He seems to openly treat contestants with an apparent bull-shit kindness that emits a twinge superiority. Just watch the videos below where he laughs at a wrong answer, or needles an Indian contestant for getting a wrong answer about New Delhi.

And just recently, Alex Trebek described how shocked he was to wake up and find a woman “burglarizing” his San Francisco hotel room at 2:30 a.m. The Jeopardy! host said, “I realized immediately that someone had been in the room, and I put on my underwear and ran down the hall to see if I could find her.” While chasing her, Trebek ripped his Achilles tendon and injured his other leg.
