What’s the wingspan on this chubby caterpillar when it’s done doing the metamorphosis thing? 6/12 – UPDATE: A reader much smarter than me pointed out this is a grub, not a caterpillar. So this thing will stay nasty.

Unbelievable amateur footage appears to show the moment a golden eagle attempted to snatch a small child in a Montreal park. However, there is much skepticism online as to whether the clip was faked. Some are analyzing the footage frame by frame to see if it is real or not.
Looks real to me and definitely worth a view.
