The album cover for Blink 182′s Enema of the State is one of the enduring images of the late ’90s. Sorry to ruin it for you guys. She was arrested in January of 2011 for three outstanding warrants.

Love that the Google doodle today honors the what Bob Moog brought to music. He would have been 78 today. The Moog synthesizer (Pronounced “mohwg,” not “moo-g.”) has been in use for more than four decades’ worth of pop, rock and other music including film. It got me thinking about the best songs that feature moog lines. Here are 10.

I had never paid attention to Joe Bonamassa music until today. Thanks to a mention of them on Bits and Pieces, I am now a fan. The guy has worked hard over the years with producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, etc.). I can’t put my finger on the style or sound yet, but I like it. Maybe you will too.
